How to Register to Consign

- Read the seller guidelines and accepted items list
- Enter and price your items in the system
- Print your tags and attach them to your items
- Drop off your items during the scheduled drop-off dates.

We accept clean, authentic, gently used items that are stylish, in excellent condition, and ready for a new home.To keep the sale fresh, organized, and enjoyable, we carefully inspect every item before it reaches the sales floor. While current styles are always popular, timeless, high-quality pieces are welcome too.
Not sure if an item is a good fit? Ask yourself: Would a friend be excited to receive this? Would I take the time to sell it online? Would it be worth meeting someone to sell? If you answered yes to any of these, it's likely a great fit for Lucky Label!
There is a limit of 250 items per sale. This is to encourage quality items being brought to sell at Lucky Label. For consignors with high end items from brands (Free People, Anthro, Lululemon Nike etc.), there is an option to enter more than 250 clothing items. If you think this applies to you, email [email protected] and we can take a look at your inventory.
To keep the shopping experience fresh and relevant, Lucky Label accepts seasonally appropriate items only. Save heavy coats, wool sweaters, fleece, corduroy, and turtlenecks for our fall sale, and reserve shorts, sundresses, strappy tops, flip-flops, and other warm-weather styles for our spring sale.
We reserve the right to decline any item that does not meet our quality standards or is unlikely to sell.

- Beauty: New, unopened beauty and personal care products only
- Home & Lifestyle: Home décor, seasonal décor, books, puzzles, board games, and small kitchen appliances
- Sports & Hobbies: Fitness equipment, sporting goods, outdoor gear, and craft supplies
- Items more than 4–5 years old or no longer in style
- Clothing with stains, holes, tears, odors, pet hair, or excessive wear
- Counterfeit, recalled, broken, incomplete, or non-working items
- Used undergarments or opened beauty products
- Socks (unless new) or underwear (unless brand new with tags)
- Kids' clothing or shoes
- Bridesmaid dresses
- Items not listed in our accepted categories

How to Prepare and Tag Items

Inspect Your items
Every item should be:
- Freshly laundered or cleaned
- Free of stains, holes, tears, odors, and excessive pilling
- In excellent, ready-to-wear condition
- Current style (generally purchased within the last 4–5 years)
- Complete and in working order (all buttons, zippers, buckles, etc.)
Price your items
Price items fairly to help them sell while maximizing your earnings. Consider the original retail price, brand. condition, demand, and seasonality
Most successful items are priced at approximately 50–70% of retail, though premium brands may sell for more.

Print your tags
Once you've entered your inventory into the Lucky Label seller portal, print your barcode tags according to our printing guidelines. Make sure each tag is printed clearly, easy to scan, and securely attached.
Attach Tags to items
- Pin tags through the back center manufacturer label whenever possible.
- If an item doesn't have a neck label, attach the tag through an inside seam.
- Do not pin directly through the fabric, as this can leave holes and may result in the item being rejected.
Prepare your items
- Button and zip garments completely.
- Pair shoes securely together.
- Bundle matching sets together.Remove lint and pet hair.
- Steam or lightly iron wrinkled items.
- Be sure all clothing on hangers with the hook shaped like a question mark (?) when facing the front of the garments
A Few Things to Remember
- Shorts will not be accepted for the Fall Sale
- We accept gently loved and new items that meet our quality, condition, and authenticity standards
- If you'd like your item to be discounted on Sunday Half-Price Sale, be sure to mark it as "Reduce" when entering your inventory.
- If you’d like your item to to be donated, be sure to mark donate when entering your inventory
- Double-check every item before drop-off to ensure it's tagged and sale-ready.

Quick Tag is Lucky Label's inventory entry service for busy sellers who want to earn money from their closets without spending hours entering items into the system. Simply prepare your items according to our Seller Guidelines, drop them off, and we'll take care of the inventory entry and tag printing.

Quick Tag is designed for closets filled with quality, on-demand brands and is available in limited quantities each sale. To ensure every client receives personalized service, we accept only a select number of quick tag consignors each season.
How QuickTag Works:
Register
- Register as a seller and pay for your seller spot
- Complete the Quick Tag request google form
- Please note that the quick tag service costs $25 in addition to the seller fee.
The $25 Quick Tag Service Fee Includes:
- $10 to compensate for your Lucky Label Quick Tagger for inventory entry and tag preparation.
- $15 to cover supplies needed to prepare your items for the sale, including tags, tagging materials, and up to 50 hangers.
- If more than 50 hangers are needed, an additional $5 fee will be deducted from your consignor payout for each additional set of 50 hangers used.
Drop Off Your Items
- Gather your high-quality pieces and schedule your drop-off/pick up with your tagger. From there, your quick tagger takes care of the rest, including inventory entry, pricing recommendations, tagging, hanging, organizing, and preparing your items for the sale.
- Your Quick Tagger will ensure your items are sale-ready and deliver them to Lucky Label, so you don't have to lift a finger.
- Enjoy all the perks of being a Lucky Label consignor, including exclusive early shopping access to our Launch Party the night before the sale opens to the public.
- After the sale, you'll receive your earnings for every item that sells, and any unsold items will be returned or donated according to your preferences.
- You will receive 40% of the earnings within 2-3 weeks of the sale ending

Unsold Items Details

Have items that did not sell? No biggie!
You are welcome to pick up unsold items after the sale during the designated times that will be communicated to you.
OR
You can opt in to donate your unsold items to our community partners to give back to those in need in our community. Either way - the choice is yours!

Consignors will get a check in the mail 2-3 weeks after the sale! Please ensure that your address is accurate when registering as a consignor register to receive your pay out! We will also confirm address details at sale drop-off to mark any changes.

One of the biggest keys to a successful sale is pricing your items realistically. Shoppers come to Lucky Label looking for amazing finds on quality brands, so pricing competitively helps your items sell faster and puts more money back in your pocket.
As a general rule, we recommend pricing items 50–75% below their original retail price, depending on the brand, condition, age, and current demand.

- Price according to condition, authenticity, and current resale value.
Before You Set Your Price - Ask Yourself:
- Would I buy this at this price?
- What is this item currently selling for secondhand?
- Is it in excellent, like-new condition?
- Is this brand currently in demand?
- Am I pricing it based on value or sentiment?
Tip: if you're unsure about pricing, we'd rather see an item priced to sell than priced to stay. The goal is to turn your closet into cash and help another shopper discover their next lucky find.
